We made 25 custom decorated Jumbo Cupcakes and boxed them with a personalized tag and ribbon for a Bridal Shower. The Bride-to-be had no idea these were being purchased for her shower. 
The wedding colors were lavender and pink. Each cupcake was wrapped with a piece of pink grosgrain ribbon and topped with lavender colored fondant cutouts. We also embellished each favor box with a fresh lavender colored rose. These were fun to make.
This tower was created for a graduate from Nursing School. They requested Heart cutouts as toppers on the cupcakes because the graduate will be working in the Cardiology department of her Hospital. We made seven dozen mixed flavors and every single cupcake was gone by the end of the party!
We embossed each heart cutout with swirl stamps. I learned this technique from Melody of My Sweet and Saucy. Thanks Melody!
The matching Nurse cake was decorated with a Nurse’s Cap, stethoscope and blood pressure cuff. This was a fun cake to make and the graduate was very pleased.
This tower was created for a friends 30th black and white themed birthday party. We covered the tower layers in black and white flower print fabric and topped the cupcakes with black and white fondant flower cutouts. The cutting cake was a 6″ three layer cake decorated to match the cupcakes.
My family and I participate in the Annual Relay For Life of Watsonville held in August. Sweet Roxy’s baked this batch of cupcakes up for a team meeting and decorated them with the purple Relay Ribbon.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with Relay For Life, it is an American Cancer Society signature event. Relay is an overnight occasion designed to raise funds and empower the local community to fight back against cancer. I highly encourage you all to join us next year for Relay 09!
These cupcakes were made for Precision Mercedes, the exclusive Mercedes Benz service provider in Santa Cruz County. We used fondant to replicate their clock logo on the cupcakes. Check out the PM website and let me know what you think of our logo replication.
The fundraiser and the cupcakes were a hit and Sweet Roxy’s was proud to be a part of such a great event.
This was one of my first two-layer cakes made for a 13th birthday party. The girls at the slumber party were screaming with excitement about how lucky the birthday girl was to have such a “cool” cake when I delivered it. Needless to say, I think she was very happy with it.
This cupcake tower was created for a 1st Birthday with a Cars theme. We turned each level of the tower into individual race tracks to feature the different characters on each cupcake.
Finally, my blog is up and running! This year I have been creating different cupcake combinations and learning different ways to customize them for special occasions. I will be posting photos of past cupcakes I have created and customized for these events. I am excited and look forward to sharing my photos and ideas with you all!
